UKRD Wins Best Company for Fourth Year

Privately owned radio operator, UKRD Group, was celebrating today after claiming the Number 1 spot on the “Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to Work For” for the fourth year in a row.
The announcement was made at an awards ceremony in London hosted by television presenter and broadcaster, Kate Silverton. She also announced a Special Award for UKRD’s Chief Executive Officer, William Rogers, who was confirmed as the Sunday Times Best Leader of a mid-sized Company for 2014 and for the third time in a row.
“This is a remarkable achievement for the team at UKRD and speaks volumes for the daily commitment shown in every part of our organisation,” said Rogers.
“We really do have an amazing company full of passionate and committed people and I’m so very proud of them all and the work that they do.”

UKRD has confirmed that Rick Simmonds has been appointed as the new Managing Director of Wessex FM and will take up his post in early March.

UKRD News: UKRD’s Cornish based station, Pirate FM, is to have a new Managing Director starting in March. Mark Peters, Managing Director at the groups Cambridge based station, Star Radio, has been confirmed in post in an announcement to all staff this week by Chief Executive Officer, William Rogers.
