UKRD Teases “My Music Radio” with Elton Competition
8:22am 9th November 2016
Radio operator, UKRD, has launched a “holding page” web-site for My Music Radio which teases the launch of the new national digital radio station scheduled for mid-November by allowing potential listeners the opportunity to win tickets for an Elton John concert in Germany in the summer of 2017.
Station Operations and Content Director, Dave Alsybury, told Radio Today that the new station would be launched with a unique business model, nationally known names and a strategy that will afford it the opportunity to expand the range of services offered, all under the same My Music Radio banner.
“It’s a truly unique model and one which we are hugely excited about,” said Alsybury. “We have been preparing for the launch for many months now and we’ll be releasing more information over the next week or two.”
“To enter the competition, you simply need to go to mymusicradio.co.uk sign up and follow the simple instructions. The winner will go to Germany next year to see Elton John in concert,” he said.
