For the third year in a row, private radio operator, UKRD Group, has been accredited as an “extra-ordinary” Three Star company to work for by independent employee assessment organisation, Best Companies.

First gaining the status in 2010 and renewed in 2011, the announcement that 2012 had seen a further “Three Star” accreditation was greeted with delight by the group’s Chief Executive Officer, William Rogers. “This is the third year in a row that we’ve delivered such an outstanding performance as a company and I want to thank a great team right across the company for delivering it,” he said.

The company picked up a number of awards in 2011 relating to employee management and engagement, including “Employer of the Year” in the West Country and its first place on the lists of the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies to Work For across all sectors in the UK.

“As a business, we work really hard at making sure we fully engage and involve staff at all levels and the values and culture which sit at the heart of our business have really made a huge difference. Our commercial performance has benefited enormously from this approach as well, with most of our stations delivering year on year progress in many areas,” said Rogers.

“I dare say there’ll be a few celebrations about the place. What a great start to 2012 for UKRD.”
