UKRD GROUP MOBILE PHONE BINGO COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The following terms and conditions apply for UKRD Group's MOBILE PHONE BINGO competition.

These terms and conditions apply in conjunction with UKRD Group Station's General Contest Rules. Where there is any inconsistency, these terms and conditions will prevail.

Both these terms and conditions and the participation station's General Contest Rules can be collected at the reception desk of each participating station and downloaded from the website at www.ukrd.com

1. DURATION
The promotion will run week days between 8.00am and 5.00pm from Monday April 5, 2004 to Friday April 30, 2004, with the exception of public holidays (Good Friday April 9 & Easter Monday April 12). One game will be played each week day of the contest period, with the exception of Friday April 23 & Friday April 30 when two games will be played on each of those days.

2. METHOD OF ENTRY & SELECTION OF WINNERS
Listeners will be required to register to play the game by texting a code word to UKRD. Registration costs 25 pence and participants will only need to register once for the entire contest period. Registrations can be made at any time during the contest period. Up to 10 digits between and 0 and 9 (inclusive) will be announced on air, per contest game. Listeners will be invited to write down these digits. If all 10 digits or a combination of the digits announced are contained in their own Mobile Phone number they must contact UKRD via SMS by texting the word "bingo" to 81 800. They will be given a half hour time limit in which to do this. Listeners do not need to have all 10 digits in their mobile phone number. They just need to have a mobile phone number that is made up entirely of the digits announced on air up to that point in time. Mobile Phone numbers may contain single or multiple digits.
At the conclusion of each half hour deadline a random draw will be held from all legitmate entries. The winner will be immediately notified by text and a subsequent follow up phone call and letter. The prize is £1,000 cash. Once a winner has been selected the game will conclude for that day and a subsequent game will commence the following day.
Entry is only open for people aged 18 years or over.

3. PRIZE(s)
There will 20 prizes of £1,000 cash. (£20,000 Total Prize Pool). Listeners to the following radio stations will have an equal and fair chance of winning: Pirate FM, Star 107.7, Star 107.2, Star 107.9-3, Star 107.5, Star 107.9-1, Star 106.6, Fen Radio, 96.4 The Eagle

4. USE OF PHOTOS etc.
It is a condition of entry that UKRD has the right to publicise the names, characters, likenesses or voices of any contestants for any promotion or matter incidental to the competition.
The winner may also be required by UKRD to participate in a photo, video and/or film session and acknowledges that UKRD has the right to use such publicity photos, videos and/or films in any medium (including, without limitation, the internet) and in any reasonable manner it sees fit, unless that person advises UKRD at the time of entering the competition that he/she wishes to retain his/her anonymity.
Contestants also acknowledge that their photo may be used for a promotional display at the prize provider's location.
Contestants consent to their entry (but not telephone number or address) being read out on air and to their telephone and other conversations with UKRD being broadcast on air.

5. INDEMNITY
All contestants release from, and indemnify UKRD Group Limited and it's affiliated Radio Station Companies against, all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any prize(s) or participation in the competition including (but not limited to) loss of income, personal injury and damage to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise.

6. NOTIFICATION
All prize winners will be notified by text and on air at the time of winning, by telephone and by post. Winner's phone and address details will not be published.

7. COPYRIGHT
By entering this competition all entrants:

• consent to UKRD Group Limited making copies of the whole or any part of their entry
• grant to UKRD Group Limited all present and future copyright and all other rights in their entry in all media (including, without limitation, the internet) and whether in existence now or created in the future
• undertake to UKRD Group Limited that their entry is not in breach of any third party intellectual property rights.

8. All prizes are non transferable.

9. No person may enter the contest more than once.

10. No person may win more than one prize. In the event that UKRD becomes aware that the same person's name has been drawn as a winner more than once UKRD will cause another name to be drawn in their place. In the event that UKRD becomes aware that the same person has been the successful caller through more than once that caller will be disqualified and another caller may be taken in their place. All decisions and actions of UKRD staff will be exercised according to their absolute discretion.

11. Winners of minor/major prizes will be required to pick up their prize from the reception of their nearest UKRD Group Radio Station.

12. Winners will be responsible for any and all taxes incurred in relation to their receipt of their prize(s). Winners should seek independent financial advice prior to accepting a prize.

13. Employees and their immediate families of UKRD Group Limited and their associated companies are ineligible to enter. Employees and their immediate families of all associated sponsors and participating companies are also ineligible to enter.

14. If a winner of is under the age of 18 years, their prize may at the absolute discretion of UKRD be awarded to their parent or legal guardian.

15. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned (including but not limited to) technical failures, unauthorised intervention, computer virus, Mobile Phone failure, tampering, fraud or any other causes beyond the control of UKRD Group Limited which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, UKRD reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.

16. UKRD will not be responsible or liable if for any reason beyond their reasonable control any element of any prize is not provided. UKRD may at its absolute discretion substitute a different prize in place of any prize referred to in these terms and conditions.

17. All winners of all prizes must sign these terms and conditions and the UKRD General Contest Rules both in a form prescribed by UKRD Group Limited in order to receive their prize. In the event that a prize winner under the age of 18 years is permitted to accept a prize, these terms and conditions and the UKRD General Contest Rules must be signed by their parent or legal guardian.

18. In all matters, all decisions of UKRD staff will be final and cannot be contested. No correspondence or discussions will be entertained.

19. Obtaining time off work and/or study or related activities to participate in this competition will be the sole and absolute responsibility of each contestant.

20. UKRD reserves the right to exclude any persons from the competition on the ground of their medical condition or history or any reason whatsoever.

21. The personal information supplied by entrants when entering this competition will be used by UKRD to conduct the competition, and to contact entrants if they are a winner. The information may also be included in database/s maintained by UKRD used to let entrants know about special offers from UKRD and new developments. Any entrants may have their details removed from UKRD's database/s at any time by simply contacting their local UKRD Radio Station or UKRD on 0117 910 6600. If details are removed prior to the conclusion of the competition and/or award of prize(s), entrants will forfeit their right to claim any prizes. If you do not wish to receive communications from UKRD please advise a UKRD staff member when entering the competition.
