Radio operator, UKRD Group, has this week declared its second dividend in this financial year and has confirmed that shareholders will be in receipt of payments within a few days.

Chief Executive Officer, William Rogers, has confirmed that in spite of continuing difficulties in trading in parts of the country, the portfolio of stations has performed well enough to declare a second and final dividend for the financial year which ends on 30th September.

“The majority of our stations have performed really well across the summer months and a number have banged in record local revenue performances. National revenues continue to represent the most challenging area of trading for us but this bit of our business is now a small part of our turnover and the strength of our local operations has enabled us to grow strongly in many parts of the country.”

“We will continue to focus on growing our operations locally which, for us, is where the win is, and with really strong growth across the majority of our stations this year, trading looks set fair for the next financial year,” said Rogers.

“We have a great team of people right across the company and together, they are putting in some fantastic performances.”
