The station has recently undergone a physical transformation too with a new floor being added to the building to cope with its expanding team amongst which is a totally dedicated digital unit which is expanding the services Pirate provides to advertisers and listeners on the web, online and DAB.

“This is one of the best years Pirate has had and the level of investment the station is making in both its range of products and team size is going to make a big difference to the station over the next year or two,” said group CEO, William Rogers. “We are seeing a substantial momentum building and we are investing a considerable sum to give that even more of a push. Mark and the team are making huge strides forward and are knocking over records one after the other.”

Mark Peters, the stations Managing Director also suggested a lot more to come when adding, “Watch this space. We are a long way from finished in terms of new ideas and initiatives and broadening the range as well as the level of services we are introducing across Cornwall and Plymouth.
