UKRD Group Ltd - Official Best Company's PresentationUKRD Group is celebrating the announcement that it has been recognised twice in the latest Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies to Work For 2012 lists, with confirmation that they have retained, for the second year running, their first place in the listings and also, that their Chief Executive Officer, William Rogers, has been named as 2012 Sunday Times “Best Leader” of a mid-sized Top 100 company.

The glitzy black tie awards ceremony, held in Battersea Arena in London, the results of which were published in this weekends’ Best Companies supplement in the Sunday Times, were compered by the BBC’s Kate Silverton in the presence of 1500 guests.

“It was an amazing night and this recognition of the whole team, throughout the entire organisation, is an extraordinary accolade when you consider that this is the second year running in which we have been recognised as the top, first place company on the Sunday Times Top 100 list,” said William Rogers.

The company’s Chairman, Trevor Smallwood, congratulated UKRD’s management and wider team. “It’s a great achievement to get recognised as the best company once, but twice in a row when you are up against some of the most well known household names in the country, is an amazing achievement.”

He paid tribute to the management team of the company and congratulated William Rogers on being awarded the 2012 “Best Leader” of a mid-sized company.

“William epitomises the approach to management that we have at all levels in the company and his recognition in the Sunday Times in this way highlights the quality, not only of his leadership, but of the whole UKRD leadership team,” said Smallwood.

In the eight categories which are assessed, UKRD topped seven of them, and, of the seventy individual assessment questions upon which employees are reviewed, UKRD topped out in forty eight making it one of the most impressive performances delivered in the category.
